Hatching eggs from our own hatchery on the farm.

For more than 12 years, we have been breeding our own Cherry Valley ducks, supplying eggs for our family-run egg business while also producing premium free-range duck meat. In February 2026, we expanded our range to include a variety of duck and chicken breeds, allowing us to offer customers an even wider selection of quality hatching eggs.

I have worked in the poultry industry for over 20 years and hold a Level 3 NVQ in Poultry Management. My experience, combined with our commitment to high welfare and careful breeding, ensures we can provide healthy, carefully selected birds and hatching eggs to customers across the UK.

My eggs arrived broken. What should I do?

Although our packaging has an excellent success rate, very occasionally eggs can be damaged during transport.

If any of your eggs arrive broken, please take a few clear photos of the damaged eggs and the packaging as soon as you open your parcel. Then simply send them to us via WhatsApp using the button at the bottom of this page, ideally within 24 hours of delivery.

We'll review everything as quickly as possible and work with you to resolve the issue. We take great pride in both our packaging and our customer service, and we're always happy to help if something hasn't gone to plan.

Are your eggs fresh?

Absolutely. Our eggs are collected regularly on the farm, carefully checked and packed before being dispatched.

By buying directly from Ambrose Eggs, you're receiving eggs straight from the farm rather than through a long supermarket supply chain, helping ensure excellent freshness and flavour.

Do you deliver free range eggs across the UK?

Yes we ship all of our eggs in the UK via Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Parcel force 24 hour.

How are the eggs packed for delivery?

We take great care packing every order to give your eggs the best possible chance of arriving safely. Each egg is carefully placed in protective egg trays, with every layer staggered to provide extra strength and cushioning during transport. The trays are then securely packed inside a strong outer box designed to protect them throughout their journey.

Thanks to our proven packing method and careful handling, we have an excellent success rate, with the vast majority of orders arriving in perfect condition. If your eggs do happen to arrive damaged, simply contact us and we'll be happy to help.
