Embden Goose Hatching Eggs
From Ambrose Farm, Devon
Bring one of the most impressive traditional goose breeds to your smallholding with our beautiful Embden goose hatching eggs.
Embden geese are a classic British favourite — large, pure white birds with bright orange bills and legs, known for their calm temperament, excellent grazing ability, and strong presence in the field. Whether you’re looking to hatch future breeding stock, natural grass keepers, or simply want to raise geese properly from day one, starting with quality eggs makes all the difference.
At Ambrose Farm, our breeding flock is carefully selected for:
Strong fertility
Good size and correct type
Hardy, traditional characteristics
Calm, manageable temperaments
Our geese are naturally raised with access to grass and open space, helping produce strong, well-developed eggs with good shell quality.
Why hatch Embdens?
Excellent natural grazers
Great for orchard and paddock management
Strong, protective birds
Traditional farm breed with real presence
Impressive adult size
Each egg is collected fresh, stored correctly, and carefully packed for safe transit. We recommend setting eggs as soon as possible after arrival and allowing them to rest at room temperature for 12–24 hours before incubation.
Incubation period: approximately 28–30 days.
Hatching your own geese is incredibly rewarding — from first pip to watching them follow you across the grass, it’s something you never forget.
If you have any questions about incubation or raising goslings, we’re always happy to help.
